Despite the game being available in early access for a good while now, the final launch date for the finished product is fast approaching. This means that players around the world will be frantically anticipating the exact Baldur’s Gate 3 release time so that they can get started as soon as possible.

Below is a complete list of timezones, so you can work out when Baldur’s Gate 3 will become available to play where you are around the globe:
- Los Angeles: 8AM, August 3rd
- New York: 11AM, August 3rd
- Quebec: 11AM, August 3rd
- Rio De Janeiro: 12PM, August 3rd
- Dublin: 4PM, August 3rd
- Gent: 5PM, August 3rd
- Kuala Lumpur: 11PM, August 3rd
- Tokyo: 12AM, August 4th
- Sydney: 1AM, August 4th

Can you preload Baldur’s Gate 3?
Click to enlargeIn short, no - you can’t preload Baldur’s Gate 3 at the moment. However, you can download the early access version of Baldur’s Gate 3 if you have purchased the game early on PC. You can't play the early access version of Baldur's Gate 3 on PlayStation.
The title is expected to take up around 150GB of storage space, and so players will rightfully be wondering whether they can download some of the game as early as possible. However, even if you do download the early access version of Baldur’s Gate 3, it’s unclear whether the update file will be small or large.
Either way, it looks like players should expect to have to wait a little while after the exact release time to play Baldur’s Gate 3, allowing for some time to download the frankly massive title.
