Madden NFL 24 on Xbox Game Pass would be a touchdown for American Football fans around the world, but will it be available to play on the service?

With Madden NFL 24 on the horizon, the prospect of it being on Xbox Game Pass would mean that gamers wouldn't have to pay full price to play - and you could put that money towards the Ultimate Team mode instead. But while Xbox Game Pass does include past sports games like FIFA 23, is this the same for Madden NFL 24? Here's everything we know.

Can you play Madden NFL 24 on Xbox Game Pass?

Madden NFL 24 on Xbox Game Pass would be a huge get for Microsoft's subscription service, but alas, this will not be the case. No official word has been released from EA or Xbox about Madden NFL 24 being on Xbox Game Pass at the time of writing.

In the past, it took Madden NFL 23 six months to release on the service, as it joined Xbox Game Pass and EA Play on February 9, 2023 - and you can indeed still play it on the service right now.

This means that Madden NFL 24 could join Xbox Game Pass sometime in the future, but we'll update you here if any details arise.

For this year's Madden, EA is touting more realism in the game. The official Steam page says there's a "leap forward in NFL player realism with more body definition and variation to athlete physiques resulting in realistic player movement" in the all-new SAPIEN technology.

Additionally, the AI has been improved with "smoother and more realistic player action and reaction to the plays you call, providing more confidence in your AI teammates to execute your game plan the way you intend."

Whether or not these upgrades and the roster update are worth the full price of the game is up to you. If you decide to get the game, you may be happy to know it features crossplay between all modern systems, including the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
