We've always known that trading cards can be pretty valuable, but good God, some of them don't half push the boat out. Ex-collectors regret giving away their binders of cards at car boot sales, as many rear their heads as particularly valuable collector's items - like so many an original Charizard.
It spreads across the lines of trading card properties, with Yu-Gi-Oh!, Doctor Who: Battles in Time, and now Disney Lorcana taking over when it comes to collectability. A historic deal has been made when it comes to trading cards, as one of pop culture's biggest nerds is at the centre of it all.
Post Malone makes historic deal for Magic: The Gathering card
Magic: The Gathering only recently revealed its collaboration with The Lord of the Rings, and in the short time it has been in the world, it has skyrocketed in popularity. One card in particular, The One Ring, was the centre of a frenzy. Fans were falling over each other to speculate on its value and fight to get a hold of it.
It looks like someone has found their precious, though, as one unassuming Canadian fan pulled the lucky card. Things get even luckier, as he finds himself in an unlikely meeting with Post Malone to finally purchase the card.
Posty bought the card after it was valued at around $2 million, and their meeting has been turned into a video that has made its way to Twitter. It's an emotional video where the lucky card owner makes a huge sum of money, and the pair embrace. Bless.

The actual sum that changed hands is unknown at this stage, but given its whopping evaluation, we'd be stunned if it was anything less than life-changing. It's a huge deal, and it's yet another example of Post Malone changing people's lives for the better. What a good lad.
