The Basilisk was one of the weapons added during Season 3 of Modern Warfare 2; this small gun packs a mean punch as a double-action revolver with .500 cal rounds. Not to mention, the weapon itself looks pretty classy.

The standard version of the revolver is great in all kinds of close-range circumstances in MW2. But it can be made even more powerful with the right setup.

So, keep reading our guide below to find the best attachment, perks, and equipment for the Basilisk in MW2.

Starting off with the ammunition, the .500 Armor Piercing rounds tend to do more damage with this revolver which makes it a good choice here. The barrel here is the 10.5'' FTAC Arrow, which increases the damage range, movement speed, and hip-fire accuracy along with the bullet velocity. The laser here is the Revo-LSD 7MW, a crucial attachment that improves hip-fire accuracy and recoil control.

The Akimbo Basilisk, basically dual-wielding, is suitable in MW2 situations as most of the modes are fast-paced. As such, this will help you out quite a lot. Finally, the trigger action for the revolver is the Bryson Match Grade which improves the trigger response time and fire rate, among others.
