Dom "Soulcas" Sulcas is Team Liquid through and through. The English-born star has epitomised the organisation since he signed back in 2020, and has seen many world-renowned stars come and go. Liquid has placed faith in the 22-year-old ex-CS:GO pro as they've continued to improve, and heading into a new era, he now jockeys a brand-new horse.

Franchising ripped countless teams in half, including Liquid, but Soulcas has since stayed linked at the arm to Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen and Dmitriy "dimasick" Matvienko, who have now been complimented by a combination of fresh blood and esteemed leaders.

Previous Masters winners Igor "Redgar" Vlasov and Ayaz "nAts" Akhmetshin have added that championship nuance to Team Liquid, who were in need of something extra to get them over the line. And Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel also took the franchising opportunity to reignite a stagnated career.

Ahead of the Red Bull Home Ground, we spoke to Soulcas and Sayf about how their own home grounds have affected their careers, and what we can expect to see from Liquid in the future.

Sayf:

From getting his first PC in his dad's CD shop in Iraq to travelling the world in an esports career, Sayf discussed his cultural influences and what rock music gets him pumped up for a big game.

Soulcas:

Back on his own turf, the Home Ground is an opportunity for Soulcas to represent the United Kingdom amid an overarching World Cup, and he's more than prepared to get on the offensive at this years' event.

Team Liquid start their Red Bull Home Ground Campaign with a fixture against FUT Esports on December 9, 13:00 GMT.
