Pokemon GO fans slam devs for reverting new popular feature
I'm honestly getting sick of Niantic toying with my feelings. We finally think they do something right, just for them to strip it away from us.

Taking to the Pokemon GO subreddit, user u/Surfing_Arrokuda decided to vent their frustration over Niantic's decision to revert the spawn radius increase. Arguing the devs are "toying with my feelings," they're tired of believing Niantic has done "something right, just for them to strip it away."
Another user went as far as to say that Niantic has to be the 'absolute worst company of any game I've played in terms of communication, decision making, and implementation.'
It's clear players wanted the devs to recognise that their "unintended' bug was actually a positive feature, and potentially something that should remain in the game. Unfortunately, Niantic opted to immediately backpedal on the spawn range increase, despite widespread praise that it was a positive QOL feature.
Some Pokemon GO fans believe that these non-stop poor choices will eventually "kill the game," as the community has already reached a breaking point.
When will increased spawn range be removed from PoGo?

Currently, we don't know the exact date that the increased spawn range will be removed from Pokemon GO. Niantic has just said it will be "reverted in a future update."
Expect this patch to be very soon, and for any players hoping that the devs will change their minds because of the backlash, this is incredibly unlikely. In the response, Niantic already acknowledged the 'feedback' from the community and revealed it's being "considered."
Similar to the Remote Raid Pass debacle, this unfortunately suggests a final decision has been made. All the while, it's clear the community feel this is just another example of Niantic ignoring their requests.
