Modern Warfare 2 (2009) had some of the most iconic maps in Call of Duty history, with locations like Terminal and Highrise gaining legendary status within the community.

While these maps have been brought back as sections of Warzone maps, they've never been fully implemented back into the multiplayer setting.

Well, a Call of Duty teaser has sparked an unbelievable amount of excitement, as it's been revealed that Modern Warfare 3 will be launching with a remastered version of every MW2 (2009) map.

Taking to Twitter on August 16, popular Call of Duty account CharlieINTEL shared a message from the Call of Duty MW3 teaser number, which confirms all 16 of the MW2 (2009) maps are coming with MW3.

After texting the name of each map, the number came back with a confirmation for all of the iconic locations.

As you would expect, this has garnered a massive amount of excitement, with one user claiming that "This is such a giant W," and another celebrating that "Yes, my childhood can be relived."
