Call of Duty fans are counting down the days to Modern Warfare 3's November 10 release date and are discussing all of the fresh features coming in the upcoming title.

One of the most exciting aspects of Modern Warfare 3 is the movement, with slide cancelling set to return and changes to tac-sprint making operators more mobile than ever.

All of this means gameplay across all of the classic MW2 (2009) remastered maps is going to be fast-paced and action-packed. Well, a new leak has only got CoD players more hyped, as it's been revealed that Dolphin Diving will return in MW3.

Dolphin Diving is back in Modern Warfare 3

Taking to Twitter on August 20, popular Call of Duty account ModernWarzone revealed that content creator FaZe Jev has confirmed Dolphin Diving is in MW3.

This is brilliant for CoD fans as it adds another level of depth to MW3's movement, leading to more outplays and narrow escapes from death.

Originally debuting in the Call of Duty franchise all the way back in the original Black Ops, Dolphin Diving has always been a fan-favourite feature.

In combination with slide-cancelling, MW3 multiplayer will be absolute chaos, and it's clear most CoD players are over the moon about it.

CoD fans believe MW3 will have the "best movement" ever

The return of Dolphin Diving has been a joy to the ears of CoD fans, with countless players celebrating the title's movement ahead of launch.

"Increased movement + dolphin diving = the best movement in cod," said one user, with another claiming, "Diving and sliding being viable to dodge bullets increases skill gap."

Overall, it's clear Activision has listened to the community's complaints over recent years and is looking to deliver heavily-requested features in MW3.

This is especially the case in terms of movement, but with so many mechanics that increase mobility, we'll have to see whether the chaos is fun or frustrating.
