The Activision Blizzard deal to be bought out by Microsoft has been a slog for pretty much everyone involved.

For the consumer waiting for their favourite games to inevitably come to Game Pass, Microsoft seeing legal blocks at each turn, and Activision Blizzard trying to scrub their public persona with new ownership, it seems that the long legal process of the purchase is grinding everyone's willpower down to the stumps.

But it looks like there's one person who hasn't got any complaints about the deal's progress.

Amouranth's Activision Blizzard investment is paying out massively

it looks like the nightmare of Activision Blizzard's buyout isn't a nightmare for all, as streaming superstar Amouranth has revealed that it's made her some serious bank.

Tweeting on her alternate account, Amouranth has revealed that her shares in Activision Blizzard have made her over a quarter of a million dollars.

"Ended up making ~$261,000," she reveals. "13-14% in a year or so, beating a flat SPY index. Selling half here."

This is a serious amount of money, and while she claimed to have put in a whopping $2 million, it's clearly an investment that has paid off. After all, going from an alleged hive of a "frat boy culture" to the team on everyone's lips is probably a good thing for a lot of people.

Why is Amouranth only selling half of her $ATVI?

Amouranth indicated that she only intends to sell half of her stock, and though it might be easy to suggest that she should pull it all now and take the W, it's expected that she's holding out for the finalisation of the deal when the company's stocks should ultimately grow all over again.

She's clearly playing the long game, and with that much on the line, we'd be just as cautious too. Who'd have known that ActiBlizz weren't the only one making serious bank in the deal?
