Pokimane reveals whether she’s next to leave Twitch for Kick
It seems like everyone is jumping ship in the streaming world. Once upon a time, Twitch was the place to be (with YouTube being something of a discount alternative), and while streamers flocked to the site, the meta has changed.
Shifting terms of service and concerning anti-creator monetary shifts have opened the door for competitors to sweep in and save streamers from a fate of fees. A such, Kick and Rumble are gunning for the top spot. With the former earning some big pulls in Felix "xQc" Lengyel and Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa, there's no telling who's next.
Now, one of Twitch's biggest creators has revealed her stance on the changing tides of the streaming world, with Imane "Pokimane" Anys confirming whether she's the next to defect to Kick.
Pokimane isn't leaving Twitch anytime soon
It doesn't seem as though Pokimane is particularly swayed when it comes to taking up offers from alternative streaming sites, as she revealed on a recent Twitch stream.
As one commenter asked her if she'd consider the move, Anys simply shook her head and said "Nope." Well, that's that.
As a commenter asks if Poki would make the jump for a theoretical $10 million, Poki expanded on why she's happy with her current setup. "It's not because I've got $10 million, it's just because I am good as I am," said Anys.
"Why would I compromise my morals and ethics for more money when I have money? Something about that is so cringe to me personally."
Moving to Kick would be "cringe s**t," says Pokimane

Who knows exactly what she's referring to when she calls the move "cringe," but it's pretty clear that unless the bank runs dry, she's staying put. Grabbing the attention of rival xQc, Lengyel soon waded into Pokimane's musings.
"Morals and ethics about what? You have to be more specific, you can’t just say morals and ethics. I mean, that thing is pretty obvious when you talk about other topics," said xQc. He later tweeted, "Flexing your morals and ethics on other people around you comes from pure insecurity. Nothing else."
Either way, Pokimane is free to reign supreme as more big streamers abandon Twitch for the green glow of Kick. It's safe to expect that she'll be sticking around for a long time.
